Working with the doctors on their relocation to a newly completed professional building, the JRS design team envisioned space that would be in context with the facility’s architecture while providing an environment both comforting for patients and conducive to the delivery of best practice medicine. With a floor plan that includes a reception lounge, 7 consultation rooms, 8 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, and 1 recovery area, furnishings and finishes were carefully chosen for their patient-friendly appeal, as well as durability, and ease of maintenance. The custom mahogany reception desk with stone counter top sets the tone for traditional furniture selections seen throughout the office. Wall coverings in a warm gold color cast a soothing glow while multi- patterned carpet provides interesting visual texture in public areas.

While aesthetics played a key roll in our design direction, the primary focus was on safe, effective healthcare. For the optimum in medical performance flooring, seamless vinyl systems were specified in procedure rooms. A high-tech clean room handles the sterilization of all medical equipment. Surgical suites are fully integrated with IT and each is equipped with flat screen monitors to view broadcast- quality images of procedures in progress. Since new technology is always being introduced the voice and data infrastructure was laid to keep this office on the cutting edge for years to come.
